Review of Pond's Cream Beauty Products

    June 03, 2019

Eons ago, yes that's how long overdue this post is lol, I won a skincare package from Pond’s which I forgot to write about. One of the products on the package was the Pond's White Beauty. The product provides “whitening solutions are customized specifically to suit your skin. Pond's White Beauty has Vitamin B3+ that works deep inside your skin, to fade dark marks 3x faster. Get a rosy white glow with a long lasting powder finish,” according to their website.

Just like the freebie monster that I am, I used the product religiously every day to work. We were still in Cebu City at that time, and if you’re from the city or working there, you know the traffic struggle during rush hour.

So, at that time, I walk from and to work. It takes 15 - 20 minutes and, if you know me, I sweat a lot. I was hesitant that the product would last the entire day, even after walking to and from work.

Luckily, it did hold to its promise of a powder finish, and it also controlled my oil. I loved the matte finish of the product, and it’s great for someone who is always on-the-go.

Unfortunately, I didn’t buy Pond’s White Beauty Day Cream for Normal Skin because I still had some other products from the package. Also, I’m currently using a new brand right now and will share in the next few posts.

For now, if you want to start your skincare routine, I recommend looking at Pond’s products. Here are some answers to questions that you have in mind right now:

Pros and Cons of Using Pond’s White Beauty Day Cream for Normal Skin

    Pros

    • Powder or matte finish - for someone sweaty, a good product that mattifies my face and with the right price is a great product.
    • Oil control - it controls the oil in my face, and I like that it’s something I can use every day without feeling sticky.

    Cons

    • No SPF - I've just been recently informed of how important SPF is on skin products, yes, sue me for being late, and this doesn't have SPF.
    • Did not experience whitening on the face - I don’t know if it’s a cons because I didn’t want to whiten my face, but it didn’t. If you are looking to whiten or lighten your face, I suggest you check out Pond’s Age Miracle.
