Thrift Finds - Blue Jeans, Black Shirt

    May 01, 2017

Wearing something dark, like my ex's heart, a.k.a the color of my soul, a.k.a. the t-shirt color that I'm afraid to wear.

So, how did someone like me ended up fearing a black shirt? Sweat. Yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a lot of baskil moments because I sweat a lot.

It's not just the country's humidity, really. I just sweat a lot. That's it. I'm not sure if this is hyperhidrosis or not, but this is just my thing lol!

Fortunately, I found this cheap black shirt for women in a thrift store (for just P30!). Decided to grab it and it changed my life, well, actually it changed how I see fabrics, actually.

So, I realized then that black cotton t-shirts shows visible sweat stains. On the other hand, stretch fabrics which have wicking properties, well that's our best friend sweaty girls.

It's pretty easy to sport a shirt that hides that sweaty armpits. Check the fabric, mostly it's made up of a blend of polyester and the fabric's stretchable.

    It's a magical fabric, baby.

I have two black shirts in this fabric; one I got from a thrift store and the other one's from Lava, from one of the stores in Ayala Center Cebu.

Currently, I'm obsessed in finding a black button down shirt in this fabric, which I thin won't happen soon.

By the way, I'm wearing my favorite jeans, which is another thrift find. Bought this for P50.00 and so comfortable which earned it the right to be called a "favorite."

My trusty chucks is also here, another favorite because who wouldn't wear a shirt-jeans-chuck combo to work, right?

    Here's a closer look:

    P.S.
I know, I know, this is another lame attempt of an outfit post because, honesty, why not? lol! So, please bear with me, darlings!
