How to get to Camotes Island from Cebu City?

As of the moment, there are two routes to get to Camotes Island from Cebu. Let's start with the cheapest way, but slightly longer.
    1. Go to the North Bus terminal, that's near SM City, and ride a bus to Port of Danao.
    2. Ride a RoRo to Consuelo Port, Camotes.

How much is the fare and what are the schedules from Port of Danao to Consuelo Port, Camotes?

Here's a quick visual of the fare, accommodation type, and schedule from Port of Danao to Consuelo Port. Remember, this is just the second step to the shores of Santiago Bay. The schedule and fare is set by Jomalia Shipping.

Cebu City Pier 1 to Consuelo Port, Camotes

Swim or Skim at Santiago Bay

I haven't been to a lot of beaches, but Santiago Bay is definitely one for the books. Here's hubby doing his thing.

    Kayak at Lake Danao Park

Kayaking is just one of the activities in Lake Park Danao. You can also go around their park by horseback riding. There's also a pool there and a restaurant where you can dine and unwind.

     Swim at Timubo Cave

How to get around the island?

One of the best way to go around the island is by motorcycle. There are motorcycles waiting at the port that you can rent for a day tour or to bring you t your hotel or resort. The fare is P50.00 and a day tour price usually starts at P500.00.

There are also vans for hire at the port. I suggest that you hire them especially if you're traveling by group of 5 or 10. A day tour price usually starts at P1,000.00.
